Description:

This module is intended for introductory remote sensing or GIS classes and covers the basic principles of image interpretation. The lab exercise is participation in the USFWS-funded Drones for Ducks project, and entails labeling different types of waterfowl (ducks, geese, and cranes) on the Zooniverse citizen science platform. No birding knowledge/experience is required!
