Congratulations to Dr. Lin on her appointment as Director of the Center for the Advancement of Spatial Informatics Research and Education! Yolanda’s leadership as Associate Director leaves me confident that ASPIRE’s best days are ahead. As Associate Director, Dr. Lin has spearheaded efforts to engage the broader spatial data community at UNM and in the region and has successfully brought together partners from industry, government, and the academic community to the benefit of all of the faculty and students who work in ASPIRE.
