ASPIRE at the 2019 Tribal GIS Conference

ASPIRE faculty and students presented at the Tribal GIS Conference hosted at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI). The conference, organized by SIPI and the National Tribal Geographic Information Support Center, brought together professionals from around the country in industry, academia, and government to share resources on using geographic information technologies (GIT) to address tribal issues. ASPIRE director Christopher Lippitt gave an introductory lecture on remote sensing, and graduate research assistant Rowan Converse led a workshop on supervised land cover classification.
